This video focuses on the 'Stanway Doctor’s Grave', also referred to as, 'The Druid of Colchester’. It is unclear whether he was Celtic, Roman, a Druid, or even a doctor. Nonetheless he was buried with some interesting artefacts, including a unique game board.
The grave is a first-century AD tomb discovered by archaeologists in Stanway, Essex, in 1996. This video uses the reconstruction of the grave at Colchester Castle Museum. https://colchester.cimuseums.org.uk/visit/colchester-castle/
The video was created for the Ure Museum exhibition, 'Locus Ludi: Anyone can play!'.
